Born and raised in the Midwest, I dreamt of being successful and making a difference in this world!   As a result, I am very proud to serve as your Councilwoman for District 3.

One of the things I am often asked is "How on earth did you get started in politics?" In 2019 I was asked to consider running as an elected official for District 3. After much consideration, I believed that my passion to make a difference would be welcomed... and so I did and was elected.

Who am I?

  • Married, mother of three, grandmother of six and great grandmother of three

  • Proven and effective leader at the federal and local leader

  • 35+ years in federal small business contracting

  • 45 years of public and community service

  • I listen to hear versus listening to respond

  • Member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated

  • Member of South Lake Junior Women’s Club

Why vote for me?

I am here to serve you and my desire to do so is built on passion to make a difference in District 3. Therefore, I am seeking re-election to Groveland’s City Council to be the collective voice for District 3; all while backing it up with meaningful actions to create results.  I commit to bring you the very best of what Groveland, the City with Natural Charm, has to offer. I want to help build a district that you all will be so proud to be a part of on a continuous basis.
